Paid access for AI agents

profils.ai is free to read. Fetching a company filing that is not cached yet costs a small amount, which an agent pays on its own.

What costs money

  • Company filing PDF not cached yet (acte, comptes annuels): $0.0004 per request. GET https://profils.ai/api/documents/acte/{id}. Fetched live from INPI RNE. A PDF already cached is free and answers with a 302.

Everything else on the site is free to read, as HTML, Markdown or JSON-LD.

Get an API key without a human

  1. POST https://profils.ai/api/agents/accounts with an empty JSON body. The answer holds the key, shown once.
  2. Fund it through POST https://profils.ai/api/agents/top-ups; one payment of at least $1 covers many requests.
  3. Send Authorization: Bearer <api key> on every paid request. GET https://profils.ai/api/agents/balance shows the balance.
  4. To rotate, POST https://profils.ai/api/agents/keys issues another key on the same balance, and DELETE https://profils.ai/api/agents/keys/<id> revokes one at once. GET https://profils.ai/api/agents/keys lists their ids.

A request without a key gets HTTP 402. Its JSON body lists every way to pay and its headers carry the machine challenges. Paying through one of them opens an account too, and the key comes back in the Payment-Account-Key response header.

Terms

  • Prices are in US dollars. A payment credits a prepaid balance, and each paid request draws from it.
  • When the registry serves no PDF for a request, its price goes back to the balance automatically.
  • A balance does not expire. Credit already paid is not refunded otherwise.
  • A cached PDF is served free to everyone; a paid fetch makes the document free for the next reader.

  • mpp: Machine Payments Protocol: Tempo stablecoin, or a card through a Stripe Shared Payment Token, from $1
  • stripe-checkout: card, Link, PayPal or bank payment on a Stripe Checkout page a human opens, from $5
  • deposit: any coin sent to your own deposit address, credited at the USD price of receipt, from $1
